Lynton is very easy to find just off the A39 coast road about half way between Minehead and Barnstaple. View Larger Map Rockvale is situated up a small lane off Lee Road between the Town Hall
(shown in the picture) and Lyn Valley Craft Centre opposite the Costcutter
supermarket. Follow the drive up past Lynton Cinema, Rockvale
is at the top.
WARNING WHEN USING ROUTE PLANNERS OR GPS. The lanes either side of the Town Hall are both called Hollerday Drive and both have postcodes EX35 6HQ, however Rockvale is on the left side of the Town Hall. Some Route planners and GPS systems attempt to direct you up the road on the right of the Town Hall, this does not lead to Rockvale. When traveling towards Lynton down the M5, many Route Planners and GPS Systems direct you to leave the motorway at Bridgewater (M5 J23), although this is an excellent scenic route, it is narrow and winding, goes through a number of villages, and has a very steep hill at Porlock. Many of our guests prefer the longer but simpler route from M5 J27 along the A361 and A399 then follow the A39 to Lynton. Although further, much of the distance is on a dual carriageway.
