Commanding spectacular views of Lynton, The Rockvale is a spacious and comfortable  Guest House owned and run by Barry Smith and Alwyn Tasker; not forgetting their blue merle collie Ben, and Livvy, their little ginger cat. Fresh home cooking is a speciality of this sunny haven, with locally produced foods used to provide a varied menu.

Our Main Accommodationconsists of 8 guest rooms, (6 are en-suite and 2 have private bathrooms, all are fully double glazed) and offer a choice of single, double and family rooms and whether staying only for Bed and Breakfast or for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, a warm welcome is assured. Our New Self Catering Accommodation - Otter's Holt is a single suite for 2 consisting of lounge/kitchen, bedroom and shower room

Whether staying for Self Catering, Bed & Breakfast or Dinner, Bed and Breakfast; guests may feel free to relax in the comfortable lounge and bar which offers a wide range of drinks. There is a spacious private car park for guests own use.

We are open from 1st March until the end of October.

The Rockvale is situated just at the edge of the Exmoor National Park and is within easy reach of both the countryside and seaside resorts of North Devon. It is only a two minute walk to the centre of Lynton, a beautiful small town with a wide range of amenities for the tourist, including it's own independent cinema. Follow the North Coast Path to the Valley of the Rocks or walk down to the harbour at Lynmouth, though it may be more relaxing to travel back up the hill by the cliff railway!

To ensure the greatest comfort for all our guests, The Rockvale is a non-smoking establishment and does not allow pets, (by arrangement a dog can be accommodated in Otter's Holt our self catering suite)
